If you have lost site of what the holidays are about, let me remind you. The holidays are a time to take everything from the whole year, all your emotions, and filter them out. With filtering out all your emotions, brings clarity. Thats why the holidays are a happy time. Clarity brings happiness. It's like summer time is maintenance for the body, and Christmas is maintenance for the soul. So when the holidays come, but the nice music on....... light your tree.... or the menorah... or whatever you have, sit in peace, calm your soul. Let it cool down from a long hard year. For there is nothing you can be more thankful for then cleansing your soul, and letting that light inside of you shine alittle brighter.

The best way to determine who needs to go in your life is to imagine working with that person.
If you imagine working with with that person (the person you are questioning), you can easily imagine if that person would be someone to try get you fired or not. If so, that's the person that needs to go.

The Misconception of Goals & Dreams

No goal is worth making yourself completely unhappy to get to. Sacrifice is one thing, selling your soul is another.
What is the end result of any goal anyway? Warmth and attention. So if your making yourself unhappy just to achieve a goal of getting attention from people who don't even know you, you are doing it for all the wrong reasons.

Having a foundation in your life is everything. A life where you can breathe; A life where you are respected. Thats all that really matters anyway, and thats all everyone really wants. And if you are having a personal battle with your soul to achieve certain goals, then the foundation is what is going to keep you going.

Otherwise, without it, thats when people resort to drugs and other means of manipulation; things they don't really need to help them keep going. Only to find out in the end, that there is no promise land waiting to be handed to you. That the promise land is something that you create for yourself.

Unhealthy Relationship Example + Living Well

You cannot see somebody and say "I know who or what this person can be" and be in love with them. It's great that you can see what they have to offer inside, but if thats the situation you're in, understand that you can try for them a few times, but after that, get out.

What a person can be is not what they are. You have to judge them on what they are being. Maybe by meeting you they will be inspired to bring who they truly are out of them. But thats an extremely rare case, so do not bank on that.

Everyone has a light inside of them, no matter how little it may be, there is a light, and that light is who they truly are. But until they choose to be that person, the thought of them being that person is just concept art.

Love is a VERY big and intricate thing. Never jump into or just expect it to change. If it's right, god on ya mate! But until it is right, it is not, so never blind yourself. And if you do happen to get blind, learn from it, or else you deserve everything you get.

People in ancient days killed, and fought wars so that they could feel like they were on the top of the mountain, so everyone would pay attention to them, so they wouldn't feel alone.

Read that again.

(In other words, all the wars in the past were about being at the top of the mountain to get attention, but if you're killing people, who is there to get attention from? Fear is only meant to trick you and have you believe none sense, and alls you wind up being is the puppet that is getting laughed at.)

See how clouded and ignorant fear makes you. This is why you cannot except oppression, or else you will live you're life in fear, and forever confused. Never being able to see.

Loving vs. Learning

When you see someone going with someone, and you look at it and you're like "..what??" and it just doesn't make sense, that person is looking to get close to someone that they don't really like, in order to create a situation that they don't want to be in, to force the anger that they have inside out that they don't know how to get out on their own.

The sad part is when people mistake this sinario for love. They're not in love with the person, they're in love with the fact that they're their ticket to emotional discovery and freedom. It's the difference between puppy love and real love.

Granted, there are cases when people find their loves the first time through, but most of the time, it's just a part of learning and growing up and moving on.

My only hope is that more people know the difference between loving and learning.

If you keep saying you want to do something, but just can't seem to ever get it done. That means you have too many aggravations in you're life that are taking up all your time. In the end you learn that it's not about the people seeing you complete your dream, and living by the rules of how they will like you. The people aren't going to always be there, but YOU will always be there with yourself, so make your goals and dreams be about YOU. Sometimes people get involved with certain people because as human beings, we like to reach for the impossible.

Think of when we see someone who we haven't encountered in a long time. We might say "Who is that person?", or "I knew that person?".

But growing up is realizing what actually IS impossible and none existent so we can then spend time reaching for the things that are actually there, even though they may seem impossible.

Hidden Inside

When you're more weird then anyone knows, and you're afraid of not being accepted for who you are, you will try to act like everyone else wants you to act.
You will try to make everyone happy because you feel like if you don't, you'll wake up and be yourself, and your deathly afraid of what people will think of that person.

When you're in this position, it's not really that you are even afraid of who you are, you have just been tricked by someone who doesn't want your inner beauty to shine. They've made you think that life is about the opposite of what it really is.

Nasty is An Act of Begging

The reason why people like anything dark, is because feeling pain = feeling alive.

So a perfect life isn't a life without problems, it's a life of being able to survive and live on.

We see it everywhere. People beg to feel some sort of loss or pain. Thats why people do drugs. Thats why there are nasty people in the world. These people want to class with something or someone.  Being nasty is an act of begging. These people want someone to have physical contact with them and knock some sense into them.They want to know what pain is.

Not knowing what pain is makes people very scared. People want to feel pain to know that they can survive. Human being need to FEEL that they can survive.

Because trust me, I've been through a lot of shyt in my life, and i'm happy because of it. I know what pain is, I know what loss is, I know what life is. This is why i'm not out there doing drugs, being an asshole, begging for someone to punch me in the face.

So remember, pain is ok. A perfect world is not a word without problems, it's a world where you can survive the problems, so you can know and feel that you can survive, and to know how far is too far. Because if you don't know pain and just how far is too far, you will live your life scared that you will fall into a trap and weren't smart enough to protect yourself.

The Wrong Partner

I think some people look for a partner that will accompany them in hiding from the truth. These people feel that staying in constant minimal pain is better then facing the truth, and going through the REAL pain to get to the light at the end of the tunnel.

These people in turn feel that people who are comfortible with themselves, and have went through that big pain are their enemy, because alls they see is that you are leading them to BIGGER pain, not the fact that you're trying to take them through the only way that will make them truly happy.  They see facing the truth as a bad thing, and going through that real pain as a bad thing, in turn, they see you as an enemy. Even if facing the truth will get you to where you want to be.

Stay away from these people. Only so many chances can be given till you have to realize you're somewhere where your not loved, or welcomed. You made the choice to fight hard for what you are and what you believe in, it's not your responsibility to get dragged down with people who don't want to do the same.
